Windows 8.1 Shutting down seemingly randomly on new system.

I built a new computer recently with the following specs:

CPU:i7 4790K(stock cooler)
Motherboard:Z 97-A
GPU:Zotac 780 Ti Nvidia
RAM:8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Pro Series Red ( I think the RAM has automatically been underclocked which I need to look into later
PSU:Corsair RM Series 750W
Case:NZXT Phantom 530

So far this shutdown has only appeared to happen within games but not necessarily on high CPU or GPU usage( it happened twice whilst in dota 2 main menu). I have gone into event viewer and found an event which reads:"The previous system shutdown at 22:43:15 on ‎31/‎08/‎2014 was unexpected." I have then copied the error event log( I think) :Log Name: System

Does anyone know what might be causing the computer to shutdown? I think it has done it five times in two weeks.

do you know what are your cpu temps? might be overheating with stock cooler.

Around 80 degrees C. But why would it do it on the dota 2 main menu then?

are those your idle temps? cause if they are that's pretty high.

No those are temps when in games

if its not your cpu then it might be some other component overheating, that or its a software problem.
