Windows 8 and 10 error

I can't install any Windows on my computer except windows xp, when i try to install Windows 10 or 8 i get this​message " windows could not update the computer's boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed " help me please

This will wipe the drive of all existing data.

When booting off the install disc and installing choose "Custom Install Windows Only (Advanced)"
Highlight each partition contained on the hard drive and select "Delete". If you have multiple drives be careful not to delete them. Better yet leave them unplugged during the installation. Every partition on a drive will have the same drive number. Drive 0 for example.
Now there should be only the blank hard drive labeled "Unallocated Space" remaining.
Highlight that drive and click "Next".
Windows should now properly format the hard drive and install.
