Windows 8 doesn't like DX11?

Well

I recently upgraded to windows 8 pro and have noticed when playing Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 my system will just restart itself

I had no problems with windows 7 ultimate but since I've upgraded my operating system it has started

Any ideas?

Spec's

i5 3570k
GTX 670 2GB
8Gb G skill ram 1600mhz
Seagate Barracuda 1tb HDD
Windows 8 Pro

when does this happen after playing game for sometime or immediately.Are those original games or pirated ones(with crack)..also does your system show some error before restarting?

Happened pretty much straight away on crysis 2

but on battlefield 3 it sometimes takes a while

I'm getting no error messages and the games are legit

I tired fifa 13 but that isn't dx11 and that worked fine

have u installed all the latest drivers for ur card(nvidia site),and also the updates for windows?

It's definitely not Windows 8 at fault. What's the make and model of your power supply?

It's a Corsair GS700

That should be fine then. Did you upgrade or do a clean install?

EDIT: If you haven't done so already, upgrade your motherboard to the latest firmware revision
