Is there a way to get unofficial images to fit onto multiple 1.44MB floppy Disks instead of those DMF 1.7MB Floppy Disks? I have an old laptop that i wanted to mess around with, but using floppy disks is the only way to transfer media to the hard drive. Problem is, I have only 1.44MB floppies, and quite frankly, it's not worth it to scour the internet to find the special install disks, so is there a way? Can I make them into compressed files to fit onto the drive and then install it by folder or something? I would like to figure this out. Just for fun, not urgent, but faster is better.

The windows 95 floppies were compressed to save disk space. So it saved them from using extra floppies. If you can find a disk compression utility for modern windows, than you can use that on the 1.44 diskettes and it should hive you enough space to write the win 95 img to the disks.
