People still bashing Windows 8 i see... they should really try the OS for a few days and learn the new stuff!
I prefer Windows 8 to Windows 7, Win7 just feels old to me now (plus i keep trying to open the friggin charms menu). I use Win8 on my main PC, laptop and work PC (which i requested!), will soon have a Win8 tablet too.
Once you learn the ways around Windows 8 and the hotkeys it actually works faster than Windows 7 when it comes to productivity. Plus the multi-monitor support for the desktop is really nice (finally multiple taskbars!). Oh and multiple 'metro' apps for multiple monitors will be in the Blue update, this was confirmed on another site.
People should really try Windows 8 and go into it not expecting the same old stuff as Windows 7 since it isn't like that. The performance increases in Win8 are too good to ignore so if you're only reason for not going to Win8 is the 'lack of a start button' then get your head out of your ass. Yes corners may be a bit silly to work with at first but clicking a corner actually works faster than having to stop at an actual button (throw the mouse across the desk, click, start appears, type the app name, smack enter, yay!).
If you really think Windows 8 NEEDS touch then go invest in a Leap next month when they release![Smile :) :)](/data/assets/smilies/smile.gif)
