Windows boot options!

Hello!
Earlier today I thought I shall do some cable management in preparation for my new graphics card. So I took out my boot drive sata cable and replaced it with a shorter one, now every time I boot into windows it asks me if I want to boot into debug mode or into windows 7 home premium (recovered) it hasn't affected anything else, it's just slightly annoying. Anyone able to help out?

Check BIOS options so the hard drive is the first boot option.

I've double checked - it's definetley the first option set

Change the cable again and check event viewer for any i/o and sata errors. Run a file system check in any case.

Yes, put the old cable back in. Does that solve the problem? The shorter cable may be defective or not the right type. Sata 1, 2, and 3 use different cable specs.
