I am currently building my first computer and to cut costs I purchased a P7H55m-LE mobo. When booting into setup I have run in an error message on the select a drive window which says, "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that this disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I have tried to partition the drive, format the drive, change the partition scheme of the drive, I have even installed drivers for the SATA connection and made sure the BIOS drivers were up to date. The BIOS is set to AHCI where applicable and I have tried booting with both SMART enabled and disabled. The hard drive is set at the top priority. I have no idea of what to do and have been working on this for the past couple of days. If someone could help me ASAP that would be greatly appreciated.

I am also using a seagate barracuda 7200rpm Hdd (500GB)

Also does my mobo support a 64bit OS?
