[SOLVED] Windows disk space cleanup manager

Why do I have to put up with this constant access. I can't seem to stop it. It is not up to Microsoft to continually clean up my computer.

Zone alarm has this as a appdata/local/temp. Where is this exe that I can stop

Go to system, click on storage, at the top it will say storage sense, turn that off.

It could be storage sense

right click start
choose settings
click storage
Under Storage sense, turn it off.

Its just trying to help keep PC free of files you don't need.

only other process is disk cleanup and it is being replaced by storage sense from Win 10 Version 1809 on - https://www.windowscentral.com/you-should-stop-using-disk-cleanup-windows-10-heres-why

I don't have storage under settings


Also zone alarm is reporting Disk defragmener module is trying to communicate with svchost.exe. but this is trying to go onto the internet through the firewall otherwise zone alarm would not be reporting it

You could download defraggler and use it instead. I have no idea why Defrag would need to access internet.

Does ZA also have AV now? Have you tried running a malwarescan?
