i am running windows firewall, normally with no problems, i just turned my
computer on an it will not start up and i cannot start it, any help please.

It would help to know how far its gets before going no further.. do you see
any error messages?.. have you tried starting in Safe Mode?

this has happened to me before and someone advised me to refresh something in
my dos prompt and it worked but i cant remember what?
