I’ve had this issue for the past entire year now I’ve felt like I’ve tried everything reinstalling windows updating bios editing power plan enabling and disabling write caching and so much more. I’ve left everything on stock not even enabled xmp and yes it passes 24 hours of memtest. None of my SSDs indicate any errors on crystal disk info or on disk checking with windows. I’ve also noticed when moving large files from drive to drive it’ll keep stopping sometimes freeze my other programs then start up again sometimes I have to hard restart where I’ve waiting hours for it to start again and it hasn’t moved. I’ve tried different sata cables the lot. They’re all in separate partitions in RAID 0 (X2 128GB Silicon Power A55’s in RAID 0 X2 256GB silicon power A55’s in RAID 0 X2 512GB silicon power A55’s in RAID 0)

Windows is installed on my 128GB SSDs in raid. It doesn’t matter if I install games on that drive or the others they all cause windows to freeze causing me to hard restart my PC when downloading.

Also I’ve had it where I’ve tried stopping the download so I can continue using my PC and my drive is still stuck at 100% and the download is stuck waiting to stop

Can anyone solve this?

Since everything tests OK then the most likely suspect would be a raid problem. Stop using raid would be my first choice to solve the problem. Perhaps a defect in the motherboard raid chip? Is sounds like the minimal benefit of using raid on ssds doesn't appear to be worth the problems.

Sounds logical but it ran absolutely fine for 5+ years. The only thing I’ve changed since then was adding a TPM 2.0 module

Certainly, backing up your assorted 'save worthy' files to an external drive (or two) and then a full quick format /reinstall (I'd personally eliminate the RAID 0 and just grab a larger (and new) SSD, as 128 GB SSDs do not have countless years of writes remaining on them. This should eliminate the possibility of a simple RAID glitch dragging you down....

If problems persist afterward, at least you know the problem was not RAID related.. (You can decide if/when TPM could be an issue to eliminate that as a possible cause if issues persist)

Perhaps check CrystalDiskInfo (or GSmartControl) data on each SSD individually after eliminating possible RAID corruption is no longer an issue..

Unfortunately as suspected raid was the issue. Just wanted to believe I could fix it so I didn’t have to wipe my data and reinstall windows over again. Still in disbelief how the raid chip on my motherboard just failed like that. Guess there’s gonna be someone out there in for a rude awakening if they’re in the same boat as me using raid realising he’s gonna have to disable it and wipe all his data like I did to fix the issue. Only went the raid route to try and get similar speeds to my old m.2 that also failed on me despite having a heat sink they somehow just die. Thanks for your input on the issue, just kept trying to put off disabling raid to fix it and thought it could be fixed
