Hi,

I'm having an issue where I cannot download any apps, programs, or software updates because the Windows Installer process is constantly running. Things such as files, music, game content and Windows updates are the only things that I can download. I will turn on my PC and immediately Windows Installer is running and will never stop unless you force close it from the Processes tab in Task Manager.
I'd like to consider myself skilled with Windows, but this issue is oblivious to me.
I should probably mention that this issue started at least a year ago, but I never really did anything about it since. Thus, I don't know what could have caused it. :/

Any and all help is appreciated!

What specific Windows OS do you have, and where did it come from?

It is Windows 10 Pro (version 1909 and Build 18363.592).
I originally had Windows 8 and then I got the free upgrade when Windows 10 was released. At some point later on, I transferred from an HDD to an SSD and I encountered authentication issues with my Windows 10 version, but I was able to get an activation code from Microsoft to fix that. (if that's what you mean by where did it come from)
