I resently deleted a program from my computer without using the uninstall
that was associated with the program. Currently I do not have the software.
My problem is with the Windows installer. Windows installer continues to
attempt to install this program. I am constantly having to hit the cancel
button to stop this action. I have deleted every associated file that I can
find on my CPR. Do you have any useful suggestions for me?

Thanks,

Reinstall the application and then uninstall it using the programs
uninstaller or from the add/remove programs in the control panel.

Or you can try using the Windows Installer cleaner (mentioned in posts which
talked about fixing Office corrupted installs).

That'd prolly work too. <g> I've never used it so I hate to hand out links
to stuff I've never tried because they might ask me a question about it and
I'd really feel silly if I had no idea what to tell them about an
application I'd recommended. Hmm... Maybe, then, I'll have to give it a try.
I see Malke has provided a link for it in her response so that's an idea and
should give me something to do later on tonight.
