hello good people, I've been having this issue in which when I've installed intel hd graphics driver from intel, the Windows forcefully updates drivers and swap out the new intel hd from intel and replaces it with an older version, the Nvidia that I downloaded and installed from Nvidia website is not affected, though I've been having some blue screens related to video tdr failure and non page areas, and I think it could be due to this windows actions, I've followed many procedures online on how to disable windows 10 update permanently via registry, also I've used ddu to remove old Nvidia and checked on the part that prevents windows from installing a graphics driver online, also in the view advanced system settings, I've disabled Windows from automatically downloading drivers, and any time my pc is connected to the internet I just see windows update running and messing up with my new drivers especially for the drivers, what can I do to have this solved, I'll really appreciate your answers

Dell precision 7720 workstation, core i7 7820hq, 32 GB Ram, intel hd 630 , Nvidia Quadro P3000, Windows 10 OS 22H2

You can set a policy to block all Windows Update driver updates. To do this, press Windows key+X and select Windows Powershell (Admin)

Copy/paste the following command and press Enter:

reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate" /f /v ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate /t REG_DWORD /d 1

Restart the computer for the change to take effect.

To undo it, repeat the above with the command:

reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate" /f /v ExcludeWUDriversIn
