Last night, when I was playing a video game, my computer suddenly froze and started making a loud buzzing sound while the image on the screen got torn. I shut it down, thinking it would get better after a night's sleep but it didn't.
Did some testing with Lol since the game isn't heavy on the hardware. I can start the game, play for around a minute and then the screen gets torn, sometimes it gets back to normal for a few seconds like its struggling but eventually looks like colorful static and the buzzing starts.
Windows memory diagnosis couldn't find a problem with my ram and re-installed the radeon software but the problem persists. Any ideas are appreciated.
Edit: Apparently, a new version of radeon software was released yesterday. When I try to update to that version, I get an error . May be caused by the problem or the cause of my problem.
