Ok here's what I know. Firefox, chrome etc all work fine, perfectly smooth and fast. Apps, such as discord, or online games cannot connect at all. We have tried using both the wireless card we installed in the pc and using ethernet, both of which had the same results. Last night, this problem was actually fixed for a while. Apps could not connect, so we changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and everything worked great, gmaes would load and so on. This morning, it's gone again. We tried changing the dns once more but it didn't give the same results. I can't figure out what's going on. Any advice?

If it helps, the wifi card is an ASUS pce n10.

Are you sure there is no infection on PC that could be changing your windows system settings (and thus internet connection)?

Have you tested other computers/devices on the network to make sure it is not an issue with router/internet connection?

Open a command prompt (as admin) and type:
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Also go into adapter settings and disable (uncheck) ipv6

Okay so right after i posted this we did a reset on the pc. It seems to be working again, but i think it might be like last time. If it messes up we'll do these steps and see if it works? I'm completely lost as to whats going on at this point
