Hi there;

P4 630 3Ghz Prescott CPU
ASUS P5WD2 Premium (955X) MoBo
2x512MB Kingston 533MHz (in dual mode)
TAGAN Easycon 530W PSU

With the system above i overclocked to these settings;

CPU Frequncy 250MHz
CPU core voltage 1,400V
Multiplier 15x

DRAM 1066Mhz
DRAM voltage 2,2V

And the benchmark results were quite good, system stable etc... everything was fine. When i tried to turn off the comp. windows took so long to shut down! Tried it several times but no! still the same... The system turns on/off faster with no oc. settings.

What can you say about this?

Thanks

CPU @ one thousand four hundred volts (1,400V), that's a little bit high. 😀

One possible cause may be that you have an application/process/service that hangs during logoff (although this doesn't explain the slower logon).

If this is the case, then you can reduce the waiting time for hung applications.

The easiest way to do this is by using Cacheman.
