No.
If the system was upgraded from 7 to 10, and activated...the system details are registered at Microsoft.
He has a 'digital entitlement'.

Reinstalling on a new drive in the same system is no problem.
During the install, when it asks for the license key, you select "I don't have a product key" at the bottom of that screen.

When the...

I've done many, many clone operations.
Usually without fail.

A few questions first.
1. What size/make/model is the new SSD?
2. How much total used space is on the current C drive or partition?
3. Laptop or desktop?
4. What OS is this?

Do you Think kingston, have that dvd. I have a Windows 7 dvd disk. But i dont know how to Nice Windows over to the ssd

See my questions above.

Am I correct in assuming that you did the free upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10?

A few questions first.
1. What size/make/model is the new SSD? Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB 2.5" SSD OEM
2. How much total used space is on the current C drive or partition? I cant see it right now.
3. Laptop or desktop? desktop
4. What OS is this?[/quotemsg] Windows 10

Before proceeding, we must know the answer to #2.

No i have windows 10 on my harddisk, but want to move it to a new ssd, im going to buy

So....you're using 436GB in your current C drive
And you have a 250GB SSD.

Obviously, this will not work.

However you do it, you need to reduce that used space to below 200GB before considering any type of cloning operation.

I will only put some games on the ssd, and then keep the old hdd to some games and pictures.

Right.
But before you can do any clone operation, that actual used space has to be below the size of the SSD.
There is no function to exclude 'some games'. You have to do that manually, before.

Do you have another drive, or can you borrow an external?

Yes i have a harddisk on 1 tb, which im gonna keep

This 1TB...is this what you are hoping to clone from?
That currently contains the 400+GB of data?

I dont think so, but cant you just make a clean up, on you harddisk and install all over on the SSD?

OK...from the start:

You have a 1TB HDD, with 436GB used space on it
You have a 250GB SSD

You wish to clone the contents of the HDD to the SSD.
To do this, the actual used space on the HDD must be below 200GB.

Your other option is a clean install of the OS on the SSD.
This also requires a reinstallation of all your other applications, drivers, etc.
You'd be starting from a blank slate....a brand new OS.

Depending on the current configuration of your current HDD, Steam games might not need to be 'reinstalled'.
Everything else will be.

Yes i want to make a clean install of windows 10, by i dont know how to do it, and it was that i was asking about. My english is just very bad.

OK then. This completely different that your original statement of: "Hey how can i transfer my windows 10 from a HDD to a SSD..."

A clean install is just that...starting over from scratch.

So lets start with a new round of questions...:)
What OS is this?
Do you have the install media...DVD or USB?
Do you have the license key?

What OS is this? Windows 10
Do you have the install media...DVD or USB? I have a windows 7 dvd, but if i can keep windows 10 i would love to do that.
Do you have the license key? Yes i have a license key to the windows 7 dvd [/quotemsg]
