Hey how can i transfer my windows 10 from a HDD to a SSD with all things gonna be deleted. plz help, i couldent find any anwsers other places, so i hope you can help me.

If the system was upgraded from 7 to 10, and activated...the system details are registered at Microsoft.
He has a 'digital entitlement'.

Reinstalling on a new drive in the same system is no problem.
During the install, when it asks for the license key, you select "I don't have a product key" at the bottom of that screen.

Wait, he's saying he has Windows 10 on his HD, but only has a DVD and key for Windows 7 - but wants Windows 10 on his SSD.

I don't think that's been addressed?

In that case, isn't cloning his only option - if he makes a Windows 10 install file, he won't have a Windows 10 key for it. The days of the free Windows 7 to 10 upgrade are gone.

I'm assuming he upgraded his HD from Windows 7 to 10.

When the system goes online and tries to activate, the activation server farm will recognize the basic system and activate itself.
