hello, i bought this laptop a week ago and im trying to do these updates since when i got it:

KB4034658 Windows 10 x64

KB3186568 Windows 10 x64 Microsoft .Net Framework 4.7

It always fail when i do through windows update and that means i have to reboot in loop everytime it tries to install them.
Can in install them 1 by 1 manually or is there some method that allows me to stop windows update to keep searching automatically? I have Windows 10 home x64

Solution
Only way to stop updates is to delete/rename updater so windows cannot find it. Every time you visit windows shop, updater will be rebooted.
This will give to you offline installer:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=55167
run this as admin and loop should break.
I really hate this "autoupdate" as I have workstation that is mostly offline, when I connect it all work goes down the drain. installing 1/168 ......
and thank you for monit b4 closing my work. M$hit :)

Just windows things....
to debug why windows don't want its own:
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/astebner/2008/10/13/net-framework-setup-verification-tool-users-guide/
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/astebner/2008/08/28/net-framework-cleanup-tool-users-guide/
and try again clean offline installer.
OR
to f*** it and don't care try this :
https://www.howtogeek.com/224471/how-to-prevent-windows-10-from-automatically-downloading-updates/

I would download and burn win 10 DVD with updates preinstalled.
Saves time and errors like this :)
