Windows vista reinstallation.

Hi ,

i want to re install my windows vista. i select the safe mode ,then monitor displaying checking files ,then go to next step running microsoft after that suddenly showing 'no signal' before the windows appear and totally dark.means monitor does not receive any further signal.but pc still running.i tried to re start few times still the same.i could not even re-format/run in safemode/normally run .Also i see the letters appearing in the monitor before its close looks half letter and got many vertical lines.please anyone can provide the solution..tks..sara.

You don't need to start a reinstall from safe mode,just boot computer with OS disc!

i have re installed and replaced the graphics card.its working fine now.
