Windows won't install

I just recently built a new computer (specs below). I have an installation disc for Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, but not an optical drive, so I moved the contents of the disc over to a flash drive. When I turn on my computer, it goes to POST, then to a blank screen with a flashing cursor, and never any farther. I have even gone as far as to tell it to boot from the flash drive when it starts up, but even then it will not work. Any ideas as to why not?

Computer Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 3.0GHz
Graphics: GeForce GTX 550 ti
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

Copying the disc contents seems suspect. Try downloading the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft onto the flash drive and then installing Windows. You can activate with your product key once finished.

Yup that wont work, get the iso as above use rufus or burn it to a blank dvd

Normally I would agree with you, but what's weird is that I used the exact same flash drive to install the same windows version on another computer, and it worked perfectly fine. I'll try the ISO and see if that works.

Just tried the ISO, but to no avail. Any other ideas?
