winMe restart automatically

Hi

I have a Bh6 and C450(300A), I just install winMe(clean install). My system sometime will restart or sometime will give me a blue screen. So, I am thinking about the Power supply or a CPU fan. What do you guys think. Where can I get a good case that doesn't cost a lot. Remember the system was running prefetly under win98se.

Change to network server in the file system , got rid of all blue screens for me.

Probably neither.Most likely new OS harder to oc with, but you can go into your bios and check the core voltage of the chip. It could have changed back to default which is 2.0v. you might need to up it and try again. Also, AFTER you resolve problem, set the speed to user define 100 turbo enabled gets you 464 instead of 450. Some had to run as high as 2.3 volts but make sure fan is working. If you get locked out of bios, cold boot holding down insert key to get default bios settings. LOve my Bh6 w/C600 @ 927mhz and slotkett.

I have an idea, maybe if you take that ME cd and use it as a coffee cup coaster and reinstall 98se your problems will go away.

Have you updated your bios? The bh6 has 2 versions the 1.0x and the 1.1x and they take a different bios. Make sure you get the right one.

If you're still getting the BSOD you may want to get some info from that screen and check out the MS Knowledge Base. I just recently got over a similar issue that required a tech send me a hotfix.
