Hello friends,
I am running a custom database program which uses Paradox and the Borland Database Engine. All of the tables are stored on a Windows Server (2003) in an office with 4 on site users. I'd like to be able to remotely connect to the server from off site. I am not sure what the best way to do this so I am asking for advice. Hopefully this will help me to ask the correct questions and to search for the answers.
All I need to run the database on an off site workstation is to perpetually map a network drive located on the server. Is it possible to use Terminal Services to do this? Or must I set up some type of VPN to connect to the server?
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks!
