WinXP Pro: Quick question

Hi everyone,

My friend has a crack version of WinXP Pro that doesn't require Activation. I think what he has is the beta version of WinXP Pro. Is there any way to tell if the window version he has is the REAL WinXP Pro release or the beta one?
