hey all.

Im getting new pc parts and i want to fully wipe and reuse my two 1 tb HDD drives and my windows 250 gb SSD . Only problem is that i dont know how to properly wipe the 2 HDD's.
I already know how to wipe my SSD where windows is located.

Much thanks for the help!

when you install windows you do a CUSTOM install and then DELETE all the partitions on both drives. then you can have the installer create new partitions on each drive then reinstall windows

but i recommend only having the drive you want the os installed on plugged in, you can always wipe out the HDD once windows is installed on the SSD

Dont really understand what you meant with this... I want to get a clean windows 10 on my ssd by using the "reset this pc" function on windows 10. I just dont understand how to properly wipe my 2 other HDD's.

in my experiece, windows reset has NEVER worked for me to solve any issue I have ever encounterd. Best to clean install it as @USAFRet has posted above

resets are mostly nonsense and useless

ah, so i should first reinstall windows using that tutorial with only my ssd plugged in. And then if thats done plug in both HDD's and delete both the partitions with this window?

yes! the clean install will wipe the SSD and you can manually wipe the data HDD once you have windows cleanly installed on SSD and you power down and reconnect your HDD, boot into windows and wipe the HDD with Disk Management
