I built my PC myself, and since building it, I have used a wireless connection to connect to the internet. I have a wireless adapter for that.
Today I finally connected it up wired, and no option is coming up in any of the connection options.
The ethernet port on my PC is located on the motherboard.
Not sure what the issue could be?

Solution
also go to device manager and in the power management section of your network adapter untick turn off this device to save

power--then resart pc

Yes I have.
I wasn't 100% sure, so I downloaded it again and repaired it.
It told me that the port could not be found and said "If deep sleep mode is eneabled, please disable it"
