I've got a gaming desktop but I need a wireless adapter but I don't know whether it is compatible. Here is a link to the desktop I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-FAST-QUADCORE-Desktop-Gaming-PC-Computer-Bundle-4-2GHz-8GB-1TB-AMD-193701-/151413162570?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item2340ed824a

Here is the link to the wireless adapter: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIRELESS-N-WiFi-PCI-ADAPTER-CARD-300Mbps-for-DESKTOP-PC-/260832217313?ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:GB:1123

Please let me know if they are compatible, thank you for your time!

I am too lazy to dig though the specs to see if the third antenna has any purpose. You really need to avoid the trap of bigger numbers and more antenna means anything in the real world. You can only go as fast as your internet connection.

In general the cards that claim to run at 300m are running 2x2 mimo which uses 2 antenna. 3x3 mimo uses 3 antenna but then they would claim 450m rather than 300. You never really know ....if these are dual band cards and they are claiming 300m they maybe adding 150m at 2.4 and 150m at 5g which is pretty much a lie since you can't combine the bandwidth. So its hard to say what the third antenna is without digging but since the manufacture like to lie as much as they can it likely doesn't have...
Okay, thank you. Could I ask you one more thing though. Is there any difference between these three network adapters or are they all the same?

Thanks again.

Likely not a lot of difference. You would have to really dig to find which chips they are using almost no wireless card other than intel actually makes their own chips so many have the same chips on the boards.

The key difference is going to be support if you have problems. The larger companies usually have better documentation and driver support. Be very careful buying on ebay there is a lot of product that is considered gray market and the manufactures will not honor warranty if the product was not imported correctly.

This may not even matter since your router must have the same abilities. This would be like the guys that buy newest and fastest 802.11ac cards and then complain it doesn't run any faster and they are connection to a old 802.11n router.

I now prefer to use the usb ones -- gpu nay cover the slot for the wifi card or wifi card close to gpu and block or hamper its air flow [opinion]

usb don't block nothing -- works just as good - easy to remove and put on another computer to be used quickly -- lot more benefits with the usb
