wireless adapters- which one?

I'm planning to get DSL and then setup a wireless home network. PLan to get Linksys WEFW11S4 router. Question is which cards/adapters? WMP11 or WUSB11 FOR DESTOPS.
WPC11 or WUSB12 FOR LAPTOPS?
I think I'm really asking if range or strength varies among these products. Thanks, Steve

I have a WMP11. Its fairly close to the router but has to go thru two walls to reach the router. Works ok, BUT.. I use windows 2000 and a user must be logged on with administrative priviledges to work! It would have been nice if it said that on the package! Tech support told me this is a known problem and their engineering team is working this problem but he had no information as to how far off updated drivers were!! The latest driver is dated 11/02 so I would not hold my breath for a fix on it! Anyway, if you plan to use windows 2000 I'd stay away from the WMP11 unless you don't mind using it as an administrator.
