Wireless cannot detect to my pc

My CPU failed to detect home wireless. But able to detect neighbours wireless.. Why

Is your wireless router configured for a band and speed that your wireless adapter can handle? Your router might need configuring, and might offer flexibility on which speeds/protocol is offered...

If you can see your neighbors wireless, then your adapter is at least on....refresh it, no help?
(For instance, not everything can receive wireless N, and AC speeds, whereas the older b/d/g are better supported with older adapters...)
