wireless driver help

hi i just installed windows 8 on my lap and i can seem to connect to the internet the wifi isnt even detecting all i can do is connect it via lan
i went on device manager an it seems that the Qualcomm atheros ar5bwb222 cannot start Code 10
(operation failed )
the requested operation was unsucessful

i tried redownlading it and updating the driver but it says the dirver is already updated

can anyone help

is the wifi enabled?

most laptop have a hot-key/special-key software that needs to be installed for the Fn keys to work
