Is there a way to interface wirelessly between a computer (to run program software not games) and a smart TV?

It consists of a transmitter and a receiver box, with power supply blocks and some cables. You must have an HDMI port free at the computer to plug in the transmitter, and the smart TV also must have an HDMI port to connect to the receiver. Price is close to US$200. I also found more expensive equipment, some with more flexibility in interface connections, but usable over longer distances, for much higher prices.
