As the title I have a modem that is connected through ethernet to my pc and to my router and all wireless devices are connected to the router. The printer doesn't see the laptop and the laptop doesn't see the printer with this setup.

Solution
Go to devices and printers in Control Panel and what your looking for is what is the main printer and it should be selected so and if there is a mistake try right clicking on the printer and adjusting the receiving settings. There is also the possibility of duplicate printers and you have to erase one.
Also check the passwords and settings between (IP address) as the problem may be in the router configuration.

The drivers are installed when i connect through the pc to the router wifi it works just fine, it doesn't work through modem ethernet as I said.

You are right they are not on the same subnet.. I should have thought about it one is .0.whatever and the other .1.whatever could you point me towards the simplest solution to put them on the same network? (static IP and disable dhcp ?)
