Wireless Wifi problem

I am using Asus notebook currently running on windows 8.1 pro. I recently
Installed windows 8.1 pro. Earlier i was using windows 10 pro. In windows 8.1, i am not able to connect my laptop to wifi, it is saying connect ethernet cable to use wifi. Please help!

your missing drivers. ues another pc and a usb stick download chipset drivers and wifi drivers for the laptop.
