I am experiencing a microstutter every 5-10 secs while playing. Anyone know why?

CPU: i7-4790K
GPU: R9 390X 8GB
RAM: 32 GB

actually my GPU temp is around 75-80C

I just got the game and I am silky and locked at 60fps with no single stutter. Given your rig is stronger than mine you should be fine.

yeah, i should be fine but why do i get these microstutters? and i noticed that my fps is constantly fluctuating.

Hdd may hurt but that 32gb ram should help!

You should be able to play with all settings to ultra except draw distance and hairworks. Turn hairworks off, distance to high and shadows to high. I'd also put ambient occlosion to ssao.

In crimson control panel, set tessellation override to 8x

Oddly, you have loads of RAM but only at 1600mhz. I've found faster ram to help smooth out fps dips on games recently.

I bet cpu temps are high. Never overclock on a stock cooler.

i havent oced my cpu

but all i did was turn off hairworks, hairworks aa, and quality to low and it runs smooth now keeping all other settings at ultra

oh nvm, i just realized i could use the intel extreme tuning utility to check temp

Don't software overclock with that thoogh! Just temps. Around 10 mins. It's not heavy on CPU. I just think your settings were too high
