Witcher 3 on 980 Ti

- Hello everyone,

I recently go the Geforce GTX 980 Ti straight from Nvidia.com and I was wondering if it was normal to get the occasional frame skip using the i5 4670k and 980 ti on witcher 3? I don't know if it is just my perception on the gameplay, but when I turn everything to ultra, it is playable, but not like 100 percent flawless nothing is wrong with it, although much better than my gtx 770. Any ideas?

I am playing Witcher 3 currently at high, getting a constant 60fps with hairworks enabled for geralt. The time when I get the frame skips is when i put everything on ultra

My brother uses a GTX 980 Ti and he also sees stuttering. For him it doesn't happen a lot but it does every so often. For some reason when you boost the settings to the max it doesn't run quite as smooth. I've noticed that turning down the ambient occlusion and the number of background characters makes the game noticeably smoother.
