WOL -- No Longer Working Within LAN w/New Router

Sending WOL packet no longer works within my LAN (not over internet) after switching routers. The new Asus router even has a tools page on its GUI to send WOL packet that doesn't work either. I'm guessing I'm missing a setting in the new Asus router that wasn't present on the old cheaper one. WOL was working perfectly fine with my old router.

What router setting could possibly block the WOL packet within my own LAN?

Old Router: TP-Link TL-WR841N
New Router: Asus RT-N56U

Doesn't make sense. A WIFI router should not interfere with WOL packet. Check correct subnet mask.

subnet mask is correct: 255.255.255.0

I agree the new WIFI router should NOT have affected my ability to wake other PC's in other rooms of my house, but it has. The new Asus router even has a WOL tool built-in, but that doesn't work either. Very frustrating...
