In addition, making assumptions about her based on her name is completely wrong. She didn't choose it anymore than she chose her parents. Think about it.

I got conned into buying a 42" HDTV for $400 off the side of the road once. Unwrapped the bubblewrap.... and the actual TV was trashed, so I really don't get how this stuff is newsworthy. This is in the UK so really and truly this must happen everywhere.

But just because it's an iPad it's all of a sudden big news.

If you think you're above buying goods 'off the back of a lorry' you're probably a lot richer than her. Poor people stop caring, because the gains of getting something like an iPad are not work the months of saving up... unless all of a sudden it appears at an attractive price.
