Hello Lads I am new to Tom's hardware but I read few things here, Anyhow I recently picked up a old Alienware M15X from my work that was recyled.
It had a Intel Core i3-370M which I upgraded to an Intel Core i7-840QM and 16GB ram,

Basically it currently has a Radeon HD 5730 and I was wondering if the i7-840QM would bottleneck a GTX 780M if I were to upgrade the GPU to a 780M as it has a MXM slot ?
All responses is much appericated thanks, MLG!

Solution
The 780m is far superior to the amd gpu. I wouldn't be concerened with cpu bottlenecking as the gpu does all the video work. Your cpu will probably run at 100 percent while being used for most gaming.
