and this can run far cry 3 on ultra with 50+ fps on 1080p, aa

No.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/far-cry-3-performance-benchmark,3379-6.html

20-30FPS on ultra at 1080p with AA. Medium you'd be in 50-70FPS, or spend $500-800 on a video card to max it.

BTW. it took me 30 seconds to google far cry 3 benchmarks and find that article and answer your question and earlier for the guy who asked the same thing about FC3.

I don't about Ultra, but def on High. My GTX 670 4GB FTW and 3770K ran about 40-45 FPS on HIGH in the worst parts of the game. on Very High it ran about 38 FPS. that was 1080p with FXAA, any type of MSAA will score another hit in performance. I would def say you can get 40+ FPS with the 7870 XT, solid card, and the quad core part DEFINITELY helps according to my benchmarks and also the ones on Toms:

the 7950 gets about 36 FPS on the 1080P Very High settings, which is the highest, and the 7870 XT (or is that the 7870 LE? I can't remember) is a cut up version of the 7950 GPU.

i have the same graphic card sapphirre HD 7870 XT, i5-3470, with 4GB Ram, and i run Far cry in 30FPS with AA@ 4..With AA @ 2 i run it in 35-40 FPS
