World of Warcraft Loses Another 1.3 Million Subscribers

Im guessing around 75% of these numbers are probably from accounts that were perma banned.

Blizzard was running a promo early last year for a free D3 download to people who signed up for a whole year of WoW. I do not remember the date limit for that promo but it was probably just about now.

So the more likely theory is that the bulk of player losses were players who subscribed early in the promo. There will likely be some more losses from people who signed up near the end of that promo who have not been accounted for yet.

True but you need to also account for the very large number of banned accounts blizzard has been giving out recently for botters. People can't honestly say oh 1.3 mil people left because wow sucks blah blah no thats not true most either got hit with the huge ban wave or couldn't afford it after their yearly deal with diablo 3.

WoW is probably the worse mmo out there, it's for little kids my 7 year old nephew plays it now.....
