Woo adding a panda.... nice on blizz, top idea.. (sarcasm detector going off)

my $.02

Played Warcraft till lvl 80... It got to be too much work, grinding and less fun... And then they added pandas!?!? WTF - It's an old game, with old graphics and I've moved on.

end of $.02

Greedy bastards, they loose a lot of customers because they charge customers for each expansion. They should reward their loyal customers with free expansions in order to keep them. I played the game for 5 years. I did not want to pay for Cataclysm so I quit.
The game becomes obsolete with each expansion with out instilling it. Paying for expansions if you quit to power through obsolete levels also does not make sense.

well no surprise there , the game is just well boring ... as a 5y player i find the game boring , stopped playing before firelands came out no urge what so ever to start playing again .. not like back in the old days ....

The whole Kung-Fu Panda thing has put me off.. After playing WoW for years I will not be buying that expansion... Now I'm keenly waiting for Guild wars 2 :)

This game lost me after burning Crusade. Its all about getting gear to get gear to get more gear so I can stand around in my hub town and um have people look at me.

I completely agree. I really liked the vanilla content and I never got why they would add more stuff only to make all the other stuff useless. I hated having to grind faction and vendor all my hard earned gear just to replace with greens again.

DPS ratios are currently way off balance as well. So many poeple brag in 1 fight they do 30k dps but thats an irrelevant statistic anymore, but nobody seems to care.

Bring 1 char to a Heroic dungeon 1st fight boss did 10k dps, last boss of that dungeon did over 100k dps, with not very good gear. DPS has nothing to do with gear or skill any more, which makes it difficult to strategies what players are doing inside of groups if they are performing right or not, as there is no more framework to base whats happening on, with the latest patch.

Everyone goes buy a dps meter, but thats an irrelevant statistic any more as the scale for dps scales by fight and class types more. So different fights will be "favored" vs evenly done for all players for there rolls.

Simple reason is that the skilled players have left for Rift, which is very similar to WoW but has more polish and preserves the end-game difficulty of the original WoW and its first expansion.

The real reason that most of the top-tier raiders left is because the content has gotten too easy. You used to have to work to earn your boss kills, now any scrub can hop in dungeon finder and kill the expansion's most powerful raid boss on their first day of attempting it. We used to have to do weeks of progression to compete against other guilds for the coveted server-first kills, and it was a point of pride amongst us. Now those titles and achievements mean nothing.

I still enjoy the game but it doesn't really have that fresh feeling anymore. Plus coming off of Skyrim and going back to WoW you feel a bit of a disconnect. You have to put yourself into the mindset of playing a more retro game when you play WoW now.

[citation][nom]Auroram[/nom]A picture of Kung Fu Panda and making fun of the whole concept... really, Kevin? You wrote an informative, neutral article. Why did you chose to end it with such an out of place comparison? If people would want to see cheesy anecdotes of which trolling teens can think of, they'd read MMO Champion or Joystiq...Anyways, you might want to mention that the loss of subs is seen primarily in China at this time. The country is always terribly far behind regarding updates in content, as was seen in the previous expansion's release, Wrath of the Lich King. They didn't get that until 28 months had passed since the rest of the world started playing it. Cata was less delayed at "only" 7 months. Let's hope that MoP won't take as long, or Blizzard will slack on updates again until the China release.Ah well, why do I care. Stopped playing ages ago![/citation]

Actually, the pictures not really out of place: The second I saw they were making this expansion, I first thought of Kung Fu Panda. Hes just playing to what people are thinking.

Also, as a player, how are your statistics about getting more canceled subscriptions from China more accurate than stats from the servers themselves? I get you have your reasons for not playing, as do I, but really what would Blizzard gain from lying about the fact that East players are decreasing more than China players?

Once I reached the level cap, I just didn't feel like it was an option to play casually anymore. All of the game content moves to raids and dungeons that take forever and where I could never find a decent group to play with. Which I don't get why they couldn't handle it, because they turned everything into easy mode.

I just wanted to enjoy the content and the greed associated with habitual raid runs ruins it. Seriously, who wants to spend 2-3 hrs in a small raid day after day?

today loses onemore sub...the game becomes so easy and stupid and the lasr patch is .... killed over then 20 times the bosse and get no gear cuz someone that have the item that i needed he need it once nothing tha he had it and pvp is so shitty so shitty tha u can get pvp without actually do pvp

All they'll need is for Jack Black to play the voice and have lots of catchy phrases, that'll make Pandaren sound much more handsome 😛
