Problem is most people have a higher resolution monitor than 1024P LOL 25% of people have a 1080P monitor and 51.1% of gamers have better than 720P monitor. In fact only 0.8% game at 720P resolution LOL.

Look at my graphics I posted you say you had 7 benchmarks that GTS 450 wins when you only had 4 and we cant count 3D mark cause you do not play it and it favors Nvidia to boot.

You only showed 4 games LOL how do you get 7 from 4 ? and 1280x1024 is not in any cards favor when at higher and more demanding resolutions where the cards power is most notable the HD 5750 is faster. The GTS 450 is only on par when the CPU comes more into play at really low resolutions like 720p

5750 is better in real world resolutions and at 1280x1024 the GTS only wins in BC2 and JustCause2 so ok man think what you want anyway.

This MMO fan is the same poster who used to post under "Gordon Freeman", "Hardware Dude", and many more.

He is a troll who is being repeatedly banned by the mods. Each time he get's banned, the next day, some other idiot starts posting here with the same exact MO.

He will be banned again in a few days, and will be back as someone else.

I wouldn't waste any more of my time with him, guys. He is looking to argue.

So now you are so upset you are reduced to labeling me a troll you sir deserve a clap and cookie.

You are clearly trolling on this thread. They showed you with several benchmarks that the 450 can achieve playable FPS as long as you stick with 720p or lower (although it seems ok even a little higher by the 1280x1024 benches) and you won't accept it because "you" don't consider it a real resolution. I'm sorry to break it to you, but there are a lot of people that play at those resolutions still.

Has anyone heard of X-Plane 10? It's a simulator I came across earlier with some pretty impressive sys req. You want to talk about the most demanding game, well, judging from the specs I say we might have a runner up. I would love to see some benchmarks for this. Here is the link

http://www.x-plane.com/desktop/system-requirements/

I also found that it's 55gb in size.

Ya man that Xplain10 looks ultra real and the detail in the aircraft looks to be second to none.

I am not so sure a flight-sim should be considered a "game" and named among the most demanding games. After all, the question wasn't, "most demanding app", but rather, most demanding game.

I see flight-sims as being at the very most "interactive entertainment". But seeing as how there is no real objective (unlike games) other than to fly a plane, I don't think I would ever call a flight-sim a game.

Just my two cents

not true i remember building a rig just for that game and spent maybe $700 anc could pretty much max it out on launch.had an athlon 2800+ with a geforce 6600 gt.

Any self respecting gamer that has not played Doom 1,2,3 is no gamer at all LOL run go buy and play Doom 3 it is a masterpiece even today holy cow almost 8 years later already.
