Worth it?

My desktop is getting slow. I also want a smaller unit. I have a P4 3.0 Prescott, 3GB 3200, and I'm looking to get an Inspiron Zino HD that has an AMD Dual Core Athlon™ Neo X2 6850e (1MB L2, 1.8GHz) in it. Is this upgrade worth it?

Yes, the system should feel a bit snappier as it has a dual core CPU and it is (probably) quite a bit smaller.
What do you intend to do with this machine?

Agreed - it will probably feel a bit faster and more than likely has a smaller form factor, but the biggest question is what you use your current system for and what are your plans if you upgrade? Also, what are you willing to spend?

Yes, it will be faster.
If you are planning on heavy usage of CS4 however, you would be better suited with a more powerful quad core CPU and a minimum of 4GB RAM...
