i have just bought a new pc
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming OC 12GB Gaming Graphics Card
850W - Corsair RM850X Fully Modular Gold Rated
Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB Elite 3 x 120mm Black RGB Case Fans with Lighting Node CORE Controller
Corsair ICUE H150i Elite Capellix RGB 360mm Liquid CPU Cooler
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8GHz 8 Core 16 Thread Processor
16GB (2x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3600MHz Memory Kit
Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE Motherboard
500GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME PCIE M.2 SSD

i have in my current build (which is now 6 years old) a EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2, 80+ GOLD 1300W Fully Modular
would it be worth swapping the PSU in this new build considering power consumption?
Thanks.
K.

6 years is a long time. What was it powering in that time frame? I'd advise on the new PSU purchase. Can you shoot for something from Seasonic?
this is my current build that the 1300W was supplying
2 X Gigabyte GTX 980ti G1 gaming edition

Corsair Hydro H100i GTX

Corsair Vengeance 16GB 4x4GB DDR4 2400MHz

MSI x99A SLI plus intel x99 2011 socket DDR4

EVGA Supernova G2 1300W 80 Plus Gold PSU

Intel i7-5820K 3.3Ghz Oc'd to 3.8Ghz haswell E chipset

Samsung 250GB SSD EVO 6GPs

Samsung 1TB SSD EVO 6GPs

2TB HDD
ive already purchased the pc so it would mean buying a third PSU and replacing that corsair one.

Both PSUs are great, however if it's not necessary, it's not adviced to upgrade a PSU, especially going from new to old.
