[SOLVED] Worth upgrading or new build?

Hi,

I have a pretty old system and would appreciate if someone could tell me if it's still worth upgrading or if I should think about changing the whole setup.
Since I initially got this build like 10 years ago I only upgraded the memory, PSU and the GPU twice.

Here are my specs:

MB: Asus P867Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K
GPU: Geforce GTX 1060 6GB (MSI)
PSU: Seasonic 750W (3 years old)
Memory: 32 GB DD3
3 SSD drives (1 TB, 250GB and 150GB)
Monitor: LG Ultrawide 34" (3440x1440)

I use the PC mainly for 3D design and rendering and gaming.
Budget for a new build: 1000eu

I'd advise a complete rebuild, since any upgrade wouldn't be of much benefit and the cost of upgrades will equate to a brand new concurrent spec'd build. Make and model of your current PSU and it's age? Perhaps make a follow-up post here with information asked of in this thread, we can move forward with build suggestions by the community.

Personally I'd do a whole new build. However I'd keep the GPU for obvious reasons 😂

I know, I could make fortune on the second hand market with my "crappy" GPU

Since I got a new monitor last year my system starts to struggle with the latest games in ultrawide resolution (updated the specs btw)

For that you'll need a better graphics card. A new cpu is not going to be able to help much without it.
