Worth upgrading to an 1050 ti

Hello,
i5-4690k (OC to 4.57GHz) + Asus GTX 760 2GB directCU II OC owner here.

GTX 760 is a great mid-range graphics card. I've been using it for 2 years. All latest AAA titles do work on my rig, but it has some flaws:

Launching any newer game on a 4k@60Hz monitor keeps going blinking black every 2 seconds. My opinion - not enough vram. If you prefer higher resolutions, go for more memory.

I've recently completed doom:2016 at 1080p using mainly medium settings, but high textures and 75% resolution scale. The game looks beautiful and stays at solid 60fps most of the time and drops at huge fights to 30. dropping res scaling to ~60% left me with pure 60fps all-the-time, but the graphics were horrible. Same with battlefield 1: in order to maintain 60fps, i had to play with resolution scaling.. On the other hand, skyrim 5 at 4k@Ultra preset left me with ~50-55 fps (5-years-old games run flawlessly).

Long story short: The GTX 760 is perfect to play older titles, but If you want to stay up-to-date and play newest games on more than low/medium settings and 100% res scaling at 1080p, GTX 760 is a seriously outdated card.

GTX 1050Ti offers ~23% performance boost over 760 and 2x more memory:

I would recommend getting something like RX 480 4GB if you want to play at 1080p all maxed out since 1050Ti over 760 offers only marginal performance boost.
