Hello. I am a total noob when it comes to overclocking, so I am asking this question before I overclock anything and possibly ruin any components.

My motherboard is an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO.
My CPU cooler is a Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi.
My PSU is a Seasonic Focus + 850W Gold.

If you need to know anything else, just ask!

1.28V for VCore is more than fine, you could go to 1.3V without concern (assuming temps are ok, of course).

I believe the accepted 'maximum' for an 8700K is <1.4V but, once you're getting north of 1.35V, it would be a little close for comfort, for me.
