Would a mobo that support SLI do the same with Crossfire?

Solution
Just to clear this up any board that supports SLI will support Xfire but not necessary the other way around. Xfire only needs a X4 PCI-E for the 2nd card but SLI needs a X8.
Now if you already own a 280X and have a good enough PSU to Xfire another card then looks good. I would be looking at buying a used card and not buying a new one. I would also consider and recommend selling your card and buying the single best card you can get with the same amount of money unless you can just get another card very cheap.
