I own a gtx 780, which I got a couple months ago. Since the new gtx series came out I was wondering if I should return the gtx 780, and buy the gtx980. I have two monitors, but I play games on one of them, and I use the other one for browsing the web, and other things. One of these monitors is 144 hertz (the gaming one) and the other is 60 hertz (web browsing one). Can this graphics card be able to utilize a 144 hertz at more than 60 fps? Would this card be able to handle both? What would be the performance difference between the two cards? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are some specs of my computer:
Graphics- GTX 780
Monitor(144hz) - Asus VG248QE
Monitor(60hz) - Samsung 23.6in monitor (I can't seem to find the exact model number of this monitor)
CPU - AMD Fx 6350
RAM - Gskill 16 gb
Harddrive- westerndigital 1tb
Powersupply - corsair rm 750

Yes but is it worth the upgrade from a GTX780, I am not sure. It will depend on how much he will have to pay for the return.
If it is free, yeah go for it.

Yes , i agree . GTX 970 is only 14% faster than GTX 780 . GTX 980 - 30% faster than GTX 780 . The main disadvantage of GTX 780 is 250W TDP but reference GTX 970 - 145W . If he could just swap GTX 780 and GTX 970

I could return the gtx 780 for about $500, so that would meant that I have to give another $70 to get the 980. I don't think that I am going to upgrade, because I already can play games that I want to at the highest settings. Another thing is that I build my computer twice (because of upgrading to the 780). I don't want to go through the trouble of making it another time. Thank you for your help guys! I really appreciate you taking your time to help me out on this.
