I just put together a Gigabyte 990FX-ud5 with a 9370 Vishera, I am not planning to OC but with a off the shelf coolermaster Hyper N520 my temps (according to a sensor on the bottom of the heatsink right next to the cpu) rarely go over 35c, for whatever reason the bios temperatures are as much as ten degrees higher around 40c (so which is right? I'm sure that's reading off the sensor under the cpu which is not supposed to be really accurate from all I've read). Of course it's also sort of cool right now, remains to be seen what's going to happen when it warms up in summer temps. I bought a cheap ultra etorque a5 mid tower case that has a 140mm on top, a 120 in the front and back, a spot for two 120's/140's on the door and the power supply is on the bottom with a mesh panel for the ps fan. Since the 9370 is a 220W chip it runs HOT. I'm told liquid cool is the way to go, a friend recommended the corsair i110 but I'm told a 100 would probably be able to handle it. Tiger and newegg carry a reconditioned i100 for fifty five bucks. I think stuffing a double radiator in my case would be a procedure, maybe I'm old fashioned but liquid around electronics makes me jittery..yes I know the new ones are sealed no more hooking up your own hoses. I know it's the wave of the future as cpus get faster and hotter but for now I'll stick with my fans for the foreseeable future.
